Our Services & Fees

Services

Three ways we work with clients — each guided by the Retirement Coordination Framework™, each priced clearly before we begin.

How Our Services Fit Together

Most clients begin with a focused planning engagement designed to coordinate retirement decisions and establish clear next steps. From there, some continue with ongoing coordination and wealth management, while others use the engagement to guide future decisions.

How It Works

Start Here · The First Step

Retirement Coordination Engagement™

More than a financial plan — the Engagement is up to six months of direct work with a CFP® professional. Through a structured series of working meetings, we use the Retirement Coordination Framework™ to align spending, income sources, and tax planning — making the decisions in front of you together, not just documenting them.

What This Engagement Includes

  • Up to six months of direct access — scheduled working meetings, plus questions answered between sessions
  • Coordination of your retirement spending strategy
  • Analysis of income sources and withdrawal sequencing
  • Integrated tax planning considerations
  • Scenario analysis and decision tradeoffs
  • Clear guidance on next steps and timing

Who this is for: Individuals and couples approaching or in retirement who want clarity before making high-impact decisions.

Up to 6 Months · Virtual Across 30+ States · CFP® Guidance

Engagement Fee $8,000 – $10,000

The exact fee depends on asset level, complexity, and scope of services — reviewed clearly with you before moving forward. If you transition to Simple+ Wealth Management within six months of completing the Engagement, a portion of the fee may be credited toward first-year ongoing planning fees.

  • Retirement income and cash-reserve strategy, so spending money is positioned before it's needed

Ongoing Advice · No Assets Managed

A Fiduciary Partner, on a Flat Fee

Some people prefer to manage their own investments — others have wealth that isn't movable yet. Either way, managing the money is only part of the picture. This is an ongoing, flat-fee planning relationship for people who want a fiduciary coordinating the whole picture — taxes, income, and strategy — while they keep full control of their accounts.

What's Included

  • Retirement income and distribution strategy
  • Tax-aware planning and Roth conversion guidance
  • Coordination of 401(k) and workplace accounts — including contribution strategy and the bridge to retirement before you can access them
  • Cash flow and spending coordination
  • Asset allocation recommendations — for you to implement in your own accounts
  • Employee benefits, insurance, and risk management review
  • Scheduled review meetings and periodic plan updates

You keep control of your accounts. You choose your custodians, hold your own assets, and decide which recommendations to act on. We provide ongoing fiduciary guidance — the decisions, and the accounts, stay yours. We never take custody and never charge a percentage of your assets.

Who this is for: People who want a long-term fiduciary partner coordinating the full picture — whether they prefer to manage their own investments or have wealth still building in accounts they can't yet move.

Annual Fee $9,000 – $25,000 Most clients: $12,000–$15,000 per year

The flat annual fee is based on scope and complexity, agreed in advance, and billed in installments (monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual) — never deducted from your accounts, and never prepaid more than six months ahead. Fees are negotiable at the firm's discretion. Lower fees for comparable services may be available from other sources.
